Bootleg Sleestacks for McCain!

So our lovely Wonkette posted an email they received from one "Robert S" informing the reader off a YouTube video he posted that is "narrated by Mr. W. McSpeedy, a character I created for the sole purpose of what the video is all about." The email (while hilarious) does not include a link to anything. Instead, it rambles (seemingly) endlessly about this Mr. W. McSpeedy and a certain Sen. Zero whom "holds the opposite political position of that Mr. W. McSpeedy stands for." Fortunately, someone in the "comments" section knows how to use a search box ... here 'tis ... it is truly ... something ...

former ceo of a biotch company

seems mostly to consist of typos, but there's some funny stuff in there.
this could be a cool site in a year or so... once they have more content.

not hired

one of my favorites...
and from their myspace page ...
also, notice that it's not even a scan of the image, he or she took a picture of it ...
brilliant.

on a side note, i found a stack of records in the trash on my way to work today ...
lotta dollar bin finds, but highlights include ...
  • nazareth - hair of the dog (yesssssssss)
  • cyndi lauper - she's so unusual
  • tom petty - damn the torpedoes (don't wanna live like a reffffuugeeeee)
  • hall and oates - h20 (maneater!)
  • a very psyched-out looking record called "silhouette segments" ... looks like a christian record of interviews with pop stars. track titles include "hippie version of the 23rd psalm" and "hippie version of creation" i cant figure out if its interviews or music ... the gate-fold has all kinds of photos featuring pastor john rydgren with pop stars of the 60s ... peaches and herbs, the association, the monkees, 4 tops, etc ... ah, someone else already wrote about it ...
  • black flag - my war (original 1983 release with rollins on vocals, prolly worth something to somebody)
  • lost in the stars ... this is another weird one, from 1985 on the A&M label, its the music of Kurt Weill as being performed by a staggering list of artists including sting, john zorn, lou reed and tom waits ... whaaaa ? i didn't know who kurt weill was so i looked it up ... he wrote "mac the knife" (from threepenny opera) as well as "september song" and co-wrote music to a bunch of other musicals in the early 20th century.
