well, i think its official that the bluntest has entered its autumn years ...

sittin in a blog retirement home with countless other blogs that failed to maintain enough force or focus to keep it goin ... reminicing bout the good ol days ...

i apologize (as usual) for my slackerdom, but ive been busy totally redesigning this and building up my own site

only a year though ... that parts kinda sad ... though im sure our run time is pretty good when compared to to the mean life-span of your average blog (ooh, good research project ... how long does the average blog last ??) ... like that one your little sister started in college cause, like, oh my god, college life is so crazy, i have to tell you about how fucked up i got las nite ... whatever, shut the fuck up ... ive actually been thinkin about the bluntest with some frequency lately cause ive started to realize that i gotta lot of shit id like to rant about, mostly music, art, politics and the politics of art and music ... but i also dont want to be that asshole who just bitches on his blog, cause theres more then enough of those guys out there already, and are probably doin it better then i ever will since im not really full of that much animosity ...

eh, ya never know, ill probably get to at least one, somethin thats been really buggin me lately ... the murder of live music by the dj culture ...

i just love this headline ... good article bout the technical side of reggae, though the headline is misleading ... good musicians in jamaica sprang from those nuns, not the music itself ... pretty sure most of those roots are in africa ...
