i read 90% of the comments and what no one even MENTIONS or CONTEMPLATES is; maybe the original photoshopper of those 2 images just thought they looked similar and that it was a funny coincidence ...

vogue's photographers did not spend the day pouring over WWI propoganda to figure out how they could drop a subliminaly racist image onto the cover ... plus that original image is a representation of GERMANY not BLACK FOLK ... also gonna go out on a limb here and guess that WWI propaganda posters aren't as ingrained in the american collective consciousness like they were, say, in 1918 ...
