2600 miles in 3 days

thats what i did this weekend ... went down to memphis and saw much love from the people there, then went and hung out in madison and minneapolis ... bijan and chris hung around memphis on saturday and got to see the stax museum, though i did get a lil taste of soul on saturday in madison where i learned that otis redding died while crashin into lake monona, which borders that fair city ... knew he died in a plane crash, didnt know that plane crashed into one of the 2 lakes bordering madison ... regardless, purty good times, except for the straight drive home from minneapolis, leavin at midnite and gettin home around 6am on monday ... i took the whole bitch by my lonesome as my travelin companions got their beauty sleep ... bunch o chumps ... so i subsequently ditched out on work monday and stayed up all day so my sleep schedule wouldnt be all jacked ... makes sense, right ?

drivin through middle america is a trip, man ... there was a good stretch in missouri that i literally saw a dozen anti-abortion ads over the course of 45 minutes .. political agendas aside, isnt this the part of the country thats so religiously righteous that vast majorties of the population are already anti-abortion !? preachin to the choir, methinks ... though my favorite had to the be the charmin gentleman (who i watched strike out three times tryin to mack on this skinny-ass taco john employee wearin a 5 inch button that said "IVE BEEN WEST-TEXED!!") wearing a trucker hat with the timeless phrase "Welcome to America, Now Speak English" ... ahhhh i can jus feel the love ...

but i also jus have to brag for a second that we actually got a tour together fo august ! sweet crackers ! ... check out the drastics site for the details ... west coast gwon get dubbed ... BOYEEEEEE

they dont have the fireside ... though im sure its ratin would be too low to even count

Welcome back to Chi-town! Glad to hear the tour went well. The Bluntest has been lonely. Good to have my partner back. (and where the hell is Pimpernel?)
