jim davis conspiracy!

so, again, i've been diggin on those "garfield minus garfield" strips that bogardus tipped me too ... (here's the link) ... and i started wondering if jim davis really is a depressed, schizophrenic chap ... looked up his wiki entry, and it sure doesn't seem that way ... successful, still alive (always a plus), married, proud parent and grandparent, and winner of numerous awards ... this is where i started to wonder about the whole bi-polar/split personality thing ...

oh, and i'm as lame as all that. i had to be at work late for a wedding tonite in the gallery (private rental) ... really low key event except for the A/C barely working and subsequently many of the guests leaving really early. i feel really bad for the bride and groom ... they are being uber-cool about it, but it's still real crappy. one of the more non-traditional wedding receptions i've been in attendance of, with a country band and catering from sultan's (so falafel, hummmus, and baklava) ...

well, despite the fact i was up til 4am trying to just make a simple ass DVD with a slideshow on it using iMovie + iDvd (guess what, its ALOT harder then you'd think, it distorts your images, downsamples, all this great stuff to make your photos/scans look like straight garbage) i'm still in a chipper mood cause THE TIME OF RECKONING IS NYE AT HAND!!!! nah, but for real, this is a pretty monumentous occasion.
